Background: This site demonstrates the JSON Well Log Format, being a modern well log format designed for the future requirements of simplicity, compatibility, speed, massive storage, massive transmission, cloud computing, big data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence. The service is established to demonstrate that all existing log format are compatible with the JSON Well Log Format and that they can easily be converted to it. The present web service is the simplest possible proof-of-concept (PoC) application running on a free-tier AWS instance with limited performance and capacity. For demonstrational purposes it is configured with a maximum file upload limit of 5MB.

Usage: Hit Convert... to select a well log file (DLIS, LIS, LAS, etc.) from the local computer. The selected file is uploaded to the cloud server, converted to JSON and returned back to the browser.

Warning: The web connection is not encrypted and even if the involved files are deleted from the server as soon as they are no longer needed, this application should not be used with company sensitive data. If required, please request an on-premises demonstration of its capabilities.
